By accessing or using Carpath Labs (carpathlabs.ro), including the informational website and the pitch-deck submission feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. Carpath Labs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service following such modification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Carpath Labs is an invite-only operator network and industry think tank based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The service includes:
- Informational website — educational content, member information, and network details.
- Pitch-deck submission form — a feature allowing founders to submit their company pitch deck for internal review and potential discussion with Carpath Labs members.
Important Notice: No Guarantee or Obligation
Submitting a pitch deck to Carpath Labs does not:
- Constitute a membership application or guarantee of membership.
- Create any obligation for Carpath Labs to review, respond to, or provide feedback on your submission.
- Establish any funding, investment, partnership, or other business relationship.
- Create a legally binding agreement, non-disclosure agreement (NDA), or any other confidentiality obligation unless explicitly executed in writing by an authorized representative of Carpath Labs.
Carpath Labs operates at its sole discretion and makes no warranties regarding any outcome, engagement, or interaction resulting from a pitch submission.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Your Submission
You retain all rights to the intellectual property contained in your pitch deck and any information submitted through the form. By submitting your pitch deck to Carpath Labs, you grant Carpath Labs a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- View and evaluate your submission for internal purposes.
- Share your submission with authorized members of the Carpath Labs network for the purpose of evaluation and discussion.
- Retain a copy of your submission in our records for operational and record-keeping purposes.
This license does not extend to public distribution, marketing, or use of your materials outside the internal Carpath Labs community without your explicit written consent.
Carpath Labs Content
All content on the Carpath Labs website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design elements, is the property of Carpath Labs or licensed to us by our partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without explicit written permission.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
When using Carpath Labs, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in the pitch form or any other submission.
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service.
- Use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable law.
- Harass, defame, or abuse other users or Carpath Labs staff.
- Spam, phish, or engage in other deceptive practices.
Carpath Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy without liability.

- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your submissions.
- Any third-party actions, including data breaches or interception of communications.
This limitation applies even if Carpath Labs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

By submitting your pitch deck, you acknowledge and consent to the processing and sharing of your submission with authorized members of Carpath Labs, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
